Everyone is a part of a community, society, city or country. But are you a good citizen? Do you follow rules and laws, or are you a rebel who brakes them? I believe that everyone has or would want to be a good citizen, and a good citizen should try to follow this points;
- Volunteer to be active in your community
- Be honest and trustworthy
- Follow rules and laws
- Respect the rights of others
- Be informed about the world around you
- Respect the property of others
- Be compassionate
- Take responsibility for your actions
There are more deeds you can do to be a good citizen, but I think that these points are the main ones.
An example of a good citizen is Leonardo Dicaprio because he is campaigning and raising awareness. He is working as an actor and has plaid in many movies. I believe that Romeo and Juliet is his most known movie. By acting, he has gotten many opportunities, and one of them was spiking at the Paris agreement. Dicaprio also made a documentary about climate change, which was a very inspiring documentary that inspired me to be more aware of what I buy, eats and how I recycle.
You do not have to be an actor to be a good citizen. For example, working in an American soup kitchen is a good deed. The people who volunteer are helping others who need it, and to prevents people in the community for becoming gangsters or something else.
